in 2006 by a hand full of parents who desired to see their kids
play the world
game to the best of their ability, the club started
with 99 registered players ranging from U6 – U12 in its first
year. The club started on a school oval before moving to it’s
current address at Brockman Oval, where we had two changing rooms,
toilets, refs room and a small canteen servery.
Eleven years on and Pacific Pines Football Club Pacific Pines is
still a non-for-profit organisation run by a handful of wonderful
volunteers. This handful of volunteers looks after 532 registered
players ranging from squirtz to seniors. As our numbers have grown
so has our need for a bigger home, the 2017 season saw us successfully
secure funding to expand our home on a much bigger scale, we now
proudly boast a huge lounge/canteen area, two more changing rooms
and additional toilets.
the years Pacific Pines Football Club has grown in both boy’s & girl’s
junior teams. While our junior’s boy’s teams have always
grown we have found in the last couple of years our girls numbers
have grown quite rapidly, so much so that in the 2017 season we filled
girl’s teams in every age group from U7-U18 (even having two
U12 girl’s teams). Our girls teams have been very successful
over the past few years and have secured league and grand final
champions. We have also had success with some of our past players
and one junior girl securing a place with Stoke City.
We are very
much looking forward to the upcoming 2018 season we have appointed
a new senior coach who comes with a wealth of playing and coaching
experience, we hope this will bring success with our senior mens
team. We hope to keep up the success of our junior girls and are
looking to strengthen our competition in the junior boys teams.
